Essex Classic Cars was created by myself Steve Abbs around 2013, more as a hobby than a full time business but i'm sure things will start to get more involved as we grow. 

 

I run a couple of other businesses MotorAid and Hygiene Contracts so the pressure is off me somewhat from a financial point of view. 

 

I have been passionate about classic cars since a teenager and have been involved in owning, restoring and showing classics ever since. 

 

My background has always been in the motor trade firstly as an apprentice mechanic, then spending many years working for Mercedes Benz before going it alone and eventually owning car and commercial garages, an approved body repair centre and a prestige car sales centre. 

 

Our values and points of culture are based around Respect, which is driven through the heart of each business we i own including Essex Classic Cars. 

 

Essex Classic Cars is based on Canvey Island, Essex.  

Southend Airport and Stansted Airport are less than one hour away and we have direct train links from London.
